The paint schemes here were not original to these units. Amtrak's Phase I was on E's, F's, SDP40F's and some others. The 77 originally wore the McGinnis blue, white & black while this scheme was upon the GP7's. It was nice that PAN AM & AMTRAK resurrected these paint schemes! The Vermonter heads south to New Haven, Conn. |
